THOMAS HOLME ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Philadelphia, PA

The Thomas Holme Elementary School was a Design/Build Project to replace the existing school facility with a larger capacity, modern, 21st Century Learning Center with a sustainable goal of a LEED Gold Certification. The 141,000sf three- story building includes conventional classrooms, dining hall, gymnatorium, music & vocal spaces, dance studio, maker space, instruction materials center, discovery commons, and administrative space. This building serves pre-kindergarten through eighth grades. When accessing the main entrance, a two story Welcome Center is the main hub of the school with tiered platform seating and a stairway connecting this unique common space to the second floor.
